摘要: In desert locusts Schistocerca gregaria, aggregation behaviour is elicited by pheromones. this study, we show that the behavioural response to major and most potent adult pheromone component, phenylacetonitrile, age- juvenile-hormone-dependent. Furthermore, juvenile hormone influences responsiveness of olfactory interneurons in antennal lobe pheromone, whereas receptor neurons not changed. Old injected with hormone, contrast young deprived through allatectomy, i.e. after surgical removal gland producing do display any behaviour, as indicated long-term observations. The lack positive olfactory-guided coincides an impairment central system, which displays a lower number responding pheromone. Indirect direct actions at different levels nervous system may thus contribute regulation modulation locust.
