摘要: Abstract This paper discusses active flow control schemes for the cold-start performance enhancement of a pump-assisted, capillary-driven, two-phase cooling loop. A Proportional-Integral (PI) algorithm was used to regulate boiling condition (from pool thin-film boiling) in evaporator and back pressure system during at low heat input. The improved thermal resistance inputs by 50% compared baseline case using constant rate, while realizing total pumping power savings 56%. Temperature overshoot its associated large temperature fluctuations occurring were also investigated. separate PI mitigate achieve more stable start-up with smaller fluctuations. surface 60 °C variation ±8 °C accomplished. Evaporator resistances as 0.10 cm 2 -K/W observed.
