摘要: We report the deliberately controlled growth of epitaxial metallic oxide SrRuO3 thin films in three distinctly different modes. Scanning tunneling microscopy and x-ray diffraction indicate that mechanism for on exact (001) SrTiO3 substrates is two-dimensional nucleation, which results a two domain in-plane structure. As miscut angle vicinal increased, changes to step flow leads single films. Films LaAlO3 have an incoherent three-dimensional island due large lattice mismatch, resulting bulk-like lattice. The vast difference mechanisms these corresponding their electrical transport magnetic behavior. Such nanoscale control mechanism, surface morphology, structure can be very important fabrication novel perovskite devices.
