摘要: The biochemical analysis of cellulose biosynthesis by plants has been a difficult problem due to the lack reliable assay procedure for synthase activity. Recently, celA1 gene was cloned from cotton fiber, and this identified rsw1 mutant Arabidopsis as catalytic subunit (Arioli et al. 1998). cloning these genes enables us obtain specific antibodies against synthase. A highly antibody protein prepared used detect microsomal fraction tobacco BY-2 cells. quantity in normal cells under detection limit, although they contained large cellulose. In contrast, habituated 1 microM DCB (a inhibitor biosynthesis) produced 1/10 content cells, but had much more than amount polysaccharides EDTA-soluble relatively increased results suggest that is stabilized upon binding crystallization microfibrils inhibited simultaneously.
