摘要: The overall aim of this research was to improve fertility cattle inseminated with sexed spermatozoa by improving sperm sorting procedures. Six field trials were conducted in which 4,264 heifers into the uterine body cryopreserved or unsexed control spermatozoa. Pregnancy calving rates doses 2 x 10(6) ranged from 32 51%; these averaged 69% pregnancy 20 unsexed, (range 53 79% controls). Fertility especially low on farms where low. Accuracy sexing 86 91%. Laser power 150 mW for interrogating did not result lower (43%) than when decreased as much possible a particular batch (50 130 mW) still achieve accuracy (38% pregnant). Addition catalase fluids containing beneficial thawed incubated vitro h but had no effect rates. There also between two concentrations Hoechst 33342 staining Freezing at 10(6)/ml resulted slightly higher rate (P < 0.05) 10 10(6)/ml. information obtained trials, along other improvements, notably lowering pressure system 50 40 psi, has been used procedures commercially.
