摘要: The present invention is directed to the use of complementary or combination lesion-directed therapy, such as cryosurgery, and field-directed low dose imiquimod topical therapy with short durations, in treat actinic keratosis ("AK"). In carrying out invention, therapies may be applied sequentially concomitantly, accordance invention. novel AK contemplated by invention: (1) significantly improves clearance cryosurgery-treated Aks; (2) treats subclinical lesions; (3) those visible lesions excess that cryosurgery can actually a single treatment due to, e.g., patient tolerance, provider limits and/or cost patient; (4) enhances sustained overall, compared mono lesion- therapy.
