摘要: MALIGNANT PRIMARY SPINAL tumors are rare that locally invasive and can metastasize. The majority of these have a poor response rate to chemotherapy conventional radiotherapy. Studies shown long-term survival the potential for cure is best achieved with en bloc surgical excision negative margins. Total spondylectomy involves removal vertebral segment(s) in whole achieve wide tumor excision. be performed through staged or combined anterior posterior approaches, from posterior-only approach. approach offers advantage achieving complete circumferential spinal reconstruction single setting. In this report, we discuss operative management malignant primary using total spondylectomy. oncological considerations nuances allow safe but aggressive favorable neurological outcomes highlighted.
