摘要: Abstract Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is an attractive bioceramics due to its similar composition bone mineral and ability promote bone–implant interaction. However, low strength has limited application as load bearing implants. This paper presented a work focusing on the improvement of HAp mechanical property by synthesizing iron (Fe)-reinforced bovine nanocomposite powders via mechanosynthesis method. The synthesis process was performed using high energy milling at varied time (3, 6, 9, 12 h). samples were characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Its properties investigated micro-Vicker's hardness compression tests. Results showed that directly influenced characteristics powders. Amorphous BHAp formed after 9 12 h in presence HPO 4 2 − ions. Continuous improved crystallinity Fe without changing lattice structure. found spherical shape, agglomerated dense longer time. Young's modulus nanocomposites also increased 69% 66%, respectively, prolonged from 3 12 h. Therefore, attributed homogenous, structure produced
