摘要: We estimate the timing of Arabidopsis thaliana whole-genome duplication by means phylogenetic and statistical analysis, propose two possible scenarios for duplication. The first one, based on assumption that duplicated segments diverged from an autotetraploid form, places at about 38 million years ago, after lineage soybean (Glycine max) before it its sister genus, Brassica. second scenario assumes ancestor was allotetraploid, suggests is younger than may have contributed to Arabidopsis-Brassica divergence. In each case, our age genome as significantly previously reported.
