摘要: As part of an ongoing collaboration between student groups at high schools and professional astronomers, we have searched for the presence circum-binary planets in a bona-fide unbiased sample twelve post-common envelope binaries (PCEBs) from Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) Sloan Digital (SDSS). Although present ephemerides are significantly more accurate than previous ones, find no clear evidence orbital period variations 2005 2011 or during observing season. The sparse long-term coverage still permits O-C with years amplitude tens seconds, as found other systems. Our observations provide basis future inferences about frequency which planet-sized brown-dwarf companions either formed these evolved systems survived common (CE) phase.
