摘要: From a sample of 72 galaxies with reliable supermassive black hole masses M bh, we derive the bh-(host spheroid luminosity, L) relation for (1) subsample 24 core-Sersic partially depleted cores, and (2) remaining 48 Sersic galaxies. Using Ks -band Two Micron All Sky Survey data, find near-linear bh∝L 1.10 ± 0.20 spheroids thought to be built in additive dry merger events, while 2.73 0.55 from gas-rich processes. After converting literature B-band disk galaxy magnitudes into inclination- dust-corrected bulge magnitudes, via useful new equation presented herein, obtain similar result. Unlike bh-(velocity dispersion) diagram, which is also updated here using same sample, it remains unknown whether barred non-barred are offset each other bh-L diagram. While feedback has typically been invoked explain what was previously nearly constant bh/M Spheroid mass ratio ~0.2%, advocate that bh-M relations observed at high may have instead arisen largely merging We argue results dramatically different scaling relation, such scales roughly quadratically therefore introduce revised cold-gas "quasar" mode feeding semi-analytical models reflect dub quadratic growth holes amidst Finally, use our equations predict candidate intermediate almost 50 low-luminosity containing active galactic nuclei, finding many between stellar holes.
