Development of DC/DC regulators based on switched-capacitor circuits

摘要: Design and analysis of n-stage switched-capacitor (SC)-based step-up DC/DC regulators using a current control scheme to adjust the charging trajectory capacitors are presented. Operation characteristics converter, including maximum attainable output voltage selection capacitor value, investigated. By representative third-order state space model, static dynamic behaviors closed loop transfer function derived. A prototype 30 W, 5 V/12 V, 2-stage converter has been built. Theoretical predictions favorably verified with experimental measurements.
