A Family of Switched-Resonant Converters With Wide Conversion Ratio and Controlled Sourcing Features for Volume-Sensitive Applications

摘要: In this paper, a family of switched-resonant converters with high efficiency over wide conversion ratio range is introduced. Inspired by the gyrator resonant switched-capacitor concept, new topology provides and continuous ratios using single resonator. This enabled modes operation (switching sequences) developed analyzed in paper that modify charge balance flying capacitor. By that, sourcing as well characteristics converter can be shaped to peak at various ratios. A generalized methodology presented describe multiple two port which then used analyze several operational topology. Experimental results validate theoretical model demonstrate superiority concept terms (over 10%) current-sourcing capabilities 80%) compact 5-W prototype.
