摘要: Cooperative multicasting is a promising technique to combat severe fading and path loss for wireless video delivery. In typical multicasting, nodes under the worst channel condition determine delivery quality, thereby limiting system performance affecting Quality of Experience (QoE) users. Existing cooperative multicast schemes may not fully exploit characteristics scalable over networks. To tackle this problem, we propose two new called OppCM CodedCM performs opportunistic listening conditional demodulating enhance performance; delivers layer-encoded with multi-resolution modulation through multicasting. We analyze in terms average outage probability four schemes, including direct (for baseline comparison), pure proposed CodedCM. also evaluate their via simulations. The results show that outperform other demonstrating they are indeed solutions
