摘要: The applicability of the classical semiempirical relationships between electrophoretic mobility and charge-to-mass ratio (m(e) versus q/M(alpha)) has been investigated to describe migration behavior a series quinolones in aqueous hydroorganic media. Stoke's law (alpha=1/3), polymer model (alpha=1/2) Offord's surface (alpha=2/3) were evaluated pH range comprised 2 11 ACN-water mixtures 0, 10 30% m/m ACN. As accurate acidity constant values available for charge calculations, correlations excellent. results obtained using slightly better plots q/M(2/3) against separation electrolyte used select optimum quinolone mixture. electropherograms simulated considering each at selected good agreement with experimental results. ability these predict studied certain value methanol-water THF-water was also demonstrated.
