An Efficient Slope and Slant Correction Technique for Off-Line Handwritten Text Word

摘要: Slope and Slant correction of off-line hand written text words is one the important preprocessing step because it reduces variations in person based writing styles and, thus, improves word recognition accuracy. This paper presents a novel slope slant technique. We have developed database tested our algorithm on it. compare result with well-known techniques. Comparative study reveals that method faster more accurate.
