A Model Based Text Line Segmentation Method for Off-line Handwritten Documents

摘要: Text line segmentation is one of the important steps for offline handwritten text / handwriting recognition. This paper describes a novel method based on physical process writing. The basic concept behind this is: two successive text-line are always non-intersecting. proof theory explained with model pen-tip movement. done by arranging centroids connected components present in given document. Experiments show that proposed achieves high accuracy detecting unconstrained documents.
