摘要: Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to compare the analytical performance an In-House HIV-1 viral load determination technique with three commercial kits including COBAS® AmpliPrep, RealStar®, and RTA® Real-Time PCR. Results A total 100 suspicious plasma samples were tested by TaqMan® PCR assay along above-mentioned kits. Comparative analysis between reference method (COBAS® AmpliPrep/COBAS® Test version 2.0) showed high concordance a mean difference 0.08 log10 copies/ml. All results within -0.16–0.31 suitable correlation obtained coefficient (R2) 0.82 Kit, however, two positive not detected. lowest agreement detected RealStar® HIV Kit 1.0 (R2 = 0.49, r = 0.7). Conclusions newly developed has sensitivity, accuracy, precision. In addition, it is cost-effective can be alternative in all laboratories.
