Electronic Structures of Few Electrons in a Quantum Dot under Magnetic Fields

摘要: The many-body effect on the electronic structures of a few electrons confined in quantum dot is calculated, under magnetic fields, by exact diagonalization method. When Coulomb interaction comparable to one-electron level spacings and field not too large, peak positions oscillation reflect shell structure levels, which semi-quantitative agreement with experimental results [Tarucha et al.: Phys. Rev. Lett. 77 (1996) 3613]. Under strong correlation transitions ground state. These can be observed as cusps magnetic-field dependence positions, presence Zeeman effect.
