摘要: Marbofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone specially developed for use in veterinary medicine with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. The objective of our study was to re-evaluate vivo antimicrobial activity marbofloxacin against Pasteurella multocida using subcutaneously implanted tissue cages calves. Calves were infected by direct injection into P. multocida(type B, serotype 2), then intramuscularly received range doses 24 h after inoculation. ratio area under the concentration-time curve divided minimum inhibitory concentration or mutant prevention (AUC24 h/MIC AUC24 h/MPC) pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) index that best described effectiveness (R (2) = 0.8514) non-linear regression analysis. exhibited good vivo. levels and h/MPC produced 50% (1.5log10 CFU/mL reduction) 90% (3log10 maximum response 18.60 50.65 h, 4.67 12.89 sigmoid Emax model WINNONLIN software, respectively.
