摘要: It is the aim of this investigation to compare accuracy and performance three codes in simulations fully developed incompressible turbulent channel flow. Two use staggered variable arrangements second order central differencing space. While one them adapted Cartesian grids, other uses coordinate invariant formulations discrete equations based on contravariant mass fluxes. The third code favours collocated arrangements. In keep computational costs moderate, flow through a minimal has been computed compared. size streamwise, spanwise wall-normal directions πh × 0.3πh 2h wall units 416 125 265 for Reynolds number friction velocity half width h 132.5.
