摘要: [1] Southeastern Asian tropical rain forests are among the most important biomes in terms of annual productivity and water cycling. How their hydrologic budgets altered by projected shifts precipitation is examined using a combination field measurements, global climate model (GCM) simulation output, simplified model. The developed with its primary forcing term being rainfall statistics. A main novelty this analysis that effects increased (or decreased) on cloud cover hence evapotranspiration explicitly considered. validated against measurements conducted forest Sarawak, Malaysia. It demonstrated reproduces probability density function soil moisture content (s), transpiration (Tr), interception (Ic), leakage loss (Q). On basis statistics GCM distribution Ic, Q and, to lesser extent, s varied appreciably at seasonal timescales. Tr was least impacted precipitation.
