摘要: Plant disease-resistance (R) proteins are thought to function as receptors for ligands produced directly or indirectly by pathogen avirulence (Avr) proteins. The biochemical functions of most Avr unknown, and the mechanisms which they activate R have not been determined. In Arabidopsis, resistance Pseudomonas syringae strains expressing AvrPphB requires RPS5, a member class that predicted nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeats, PBS1, protein kinase. was found proteolytically cleave this cleavage required RPS5-mediated resistance, indicates is detected via its enzymatic activity.
