摘要: Objective: To study the role of placental pathology in predicting recurrence delivery small for gestational age (SGA) neonates. Methods: The medical records and pathological reports normotensive women who gave birth at 24 to 42 weeks neonates with weight (BW) <10th percentile were reviewed. Patients divided according their subsequent pregnancy into those developed or did not develop recurrent SGA (BW < 10th percentile). clinical characteristics index pregnancies compared between groups. A prediction model was generated recurrence. Results: group (n = 67) characterized by a higher rate (P .01), neonatal ratio .003), as nonrecurrent 99). On multivariate logistic regression analysis, maternal fetal vascular malperfusion lesions all independently associated SGA. Birth <3rd only variable included following independent risk factors: BW percentile, villous malperfusion, ratio. Conclusion: presence increased are pregnancy.
