摘要: The omega-6 ( n -6) polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) arachidonic is the precursor of inflammatory eicosanoids involved in bowel diseases (IBD). Omega-3 -3) PUFAs (eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA)) found oily fish oils inhibit metabolism to eicosanoids. EPA gives rise eicosanoid mediators that are less than those produced from acid, both DHA give resolvins anti-inflammatory inflammation resolving. -3 affect other aspects immunity relevant IBD, such as T-cell function cytokine production. Fish oil has been shown reduce gastrointestinal disease severity animal models colitis. Although some clinical trials have demonstrated benefit patients with totality evidence currently inconclusive.
