摘要: False alarms arising from sonar clutter are one of the primary limitations to use active in shallow-water environments. A statistical analysis experimental data obtained for type clutter—echoes a shipwreck—is presented this paper. In experiment, multistatic measurements shipwreck were taken at three different ranges, over wide variety aspect angles and bistatic angles. The echo envelope statistics characterized terms $K$ -distribution shape parameter $(\alpha)$ with an average value approximately 2 measured closest range. While smaller values $\alpha$ observed beam aspects, variations range angle predominantly explained by related signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Additionally, estimates each seen be log-normally distributed, including variation SNR.
