摘要: Abstract The recruitment of smallmouth bass Micropterus dolomieu in rivers commonly exhibits a high degree annual variation. We examined three Virginia with the objectives determining magnitude variability, identifying functional index for measuring year-class strength, and examining relationship between stream discharge success. Recruitment study varied by as much an order among years. electrofishing catch per unit effort age-0 September–November was reliable measure strength. success significantly related to mean June streamflow using nonlinear model, strongest year-classes produced years moderate flows.
