Some pharmacological properties of the combination of etorphine and acepromazine (Immobilon) and the morphine antagonist, diprenorphine, in the dog

摘要: The analgesic effect of immobilon@ (etorphine 125 yglml and acepro- mazine 500 pg/ml) has been compared with that its two components morphine. following values were found (ED 50 pg/kg subcutaneously; acetic acid test, mice): immobilon 0.3 + acepromazine 1.2); etorphine 1.2; 40 morphine 350. action the antag- onist, diprenorphine (revivonQ) on systolicidiastolic blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, respiration rectal temperature was checked during clinical neurolept- analgesia in seven dogs.
