摘要: A total of 224 weaned pigs (DanBred sows x PIC 337 sires) with an average body weight (BW) 6.37 ± 0.34 kg (21 days age) were used to evaluate how different levels benzoic acid fed weaning orally inoculated Escherichia coli (K88+ ) affected the nursing and grow-finishing performance, physicochemical properties intestine, volatile fatty concentration in caecum incidence diarrhoea. Pigs randomly allocated experimental design randomized blocks a 4 × 2 factorial design, they administered four (0.00%, 0.25%, 0.50% 0.75%) (or not) two consecutive 1 ml solution containing 106 CFU/ml E. ). Seven replicates (pens) per treatment used, animals kept pen. Supplementation 0.75% promoted better performance (p < 0.05) nursery phase as well subsequent phases until slaughter, it decreased diarrhoea piglets 0.05). In diet, villus height jejunum ileum was greater 42 life 0.05), crypt depth butyric increased caecal content tendencially = 0.0708). conclusion, supplementation has positive effect on by reducing diarrhoea, improving intestinal health promoting from finishing. Thus, can be considered potential alternative that replace growth-promoting antibiotics.
