Synthesis of high quality zinc-blende CdSe nanocrystals and their application in hybrid solar cells

摘要: Oleic acid (OA) modified zinc-blende cadmium selenium nanocrystals (NCs) with different diameters, 3?5?nm, have been prepared. We find that the morphology and fluorescent properties of samples are related to preparation conditions such as chain-length concentration precursor well OA. The hybrid solar cells based on obtained spherical CdSe NCs an acceptor Poly(2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexoxy)-p-phenylenevinylene) (MEH-PPV) a donor show energy conversion efficiency (ECE) high 0.85%, three times higher than reported before for NCs/conjugated polymer cells. When poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) is used phase instead MEH-PPV, increases up 1.08%. cell has potential open new production technologies semiconductor NCs.
