摘要: Objective: The present study was undertaken to characterize the biochemical composition and antibacterial activity of skin mucus fish Hypophthalmichthys nobilis against different human pathogenic bacterial strains viz. Klebsiella pneumonia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, aureus, Bacillus cereus Aeromonas hydrophilla. Methods: Skin H. collected by scarping method. Antibacterial extract carried out agar well diffusion method measured in terms zone inhibition(ZOI) mm. then compared with two antibiotic amikacin chloramphenicol. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) also determined. Results: characterization epidermal revealed presence proteins as a major component (265±2.64 µg/ml) followed carbohydrate content (63.66±0.88 lipid (0.0077±0.66 g/ml) respectively. Remarkable antimicrobial all selected microbial observed. Zone inhibition (ZOI) shown crude found be significantly higher than Chloramphenicol. Conclusion: opined that this can used potential components.
