EnglishABSTRACT Parental involvement in their children's education, including activities undertaken by parents at home and through strong links with schools, contributes to academic attainment. This study examined whether it was feasible for school-based staff deliver the parent programme (IY-SR) its acceptability teachers, impact on home-school relationships, preliminary impact. Thirty-two child nursery or reception class were recruited from eight schools. Group leaders gave positive feedback about parental attendance high. There also significant increases parents' use of praise responses. is first demonstrate feasibility engaging schools as means promoting relationships providing skills coach school readiness skills.
