Comparing Drinking Cultures: Finnish and Spanish Drinking Stories in Interviews with Young Adults

摘要: In this article drinkmg stories among young adults in Finland and Spain are compared. The study is based on qualitative interviews with students attending commercial colleges. analysis of the drinking gives an insight into interviewees' personal experiences drunkenness. Two ideal types both Finnish Spanish constructed. It was found that generally had some experience drunkenness, drunkenness coexisted sociable drinking. Spam, however, seemed to bring men women together, whereas it set them apart.
