摘要: Abstract : Military training activities can severely impact ecosystem structures, functions, health, and sustainability, which are intrinsically linked to carbon (C) nitrogen (N) cycles. Information on the impacts from military biogeochemical cycles is urgently needed for installation managers minimize their adverse services sustainability. Well-designed models provide valuable quantitative information of land use climate variability many processes including C N Land range at installations need such strategically plan expansion schedule operations prevent environmental training. This project, "Developing a Spatially Distributed Terrestrial Biogeochemical Cycle Modeling System Support Management Fort Benning its Surrounding Areas", focuses development new modeling system. The overarching goal this project develop an advanced, spatially distributed cycle system simulate dynamics under historical, current, future disturbances scenarios. simulated results will be used facilitate evaluation consequences various and, therefore, support operations.
