Alfuzosin shown significantly increase maximum rate relieve bladder outlet obstruction, resulting reduction PVR urine. A pooled analysis 11 placebo-controlled studies involving 1,470 LUTS suggestive BPH indicates improvements were observed treated alfuzosin placebo. 6-month placebo controlled study 518 reported 0.4% group compared 2.4% (p = 0.04). These positive effects on could be related alfuzosin-treated patients.
