摘要: The crucial role played by social context and networks in exchange behaviour, the social-embeddedness of resources rural sub-Saharan Africa are well documented. Social-embeddedness means more than belonging to participating groups. This presents a challenge formalising socially embedded market transactions within standard economics frameworks. Different measures constructed using data from three Zambian villages analysed demonstrate that network properties differ significantly for different people. way we measure matters. Such fine-grained will help future work analysing play people’s lives decision-making.
