Analysis of factors affecting satisfaction in the emergency department: a survey of 1019 patients.

摘要: The objective of this study was to identify factors that affect overall satisfaction patients admitted the emergency department (ED). All consecutive adult in ED during a 14-day period who could communicate well were enrolled into cross-sectional analytic study. Patients’ demographic data, information on care, and level recorded. Patients asked rate specific issues concerning their (good excellent) 5-point Likert scale. Response survey obtained from 1019 (91.6%) 1113 for analysis Satisfaction with physician experience, attitude, triage, explanation health status treatment, discharge instructions found have significant impact (P<.001 each). experience most important factor affecting satisfaction. Patient perception total time spent as “short” “very short” not demonstrated be significantly related (P=.162). Temporal perceptions “long” long” shown (P<.001).
