摘要: Proton, carbon, and nitrogen-14 nuclear magnetic resonance studies are reported of hydrogen bonding between the OH proton o-phenylphenol (OPP) nitrogen electron donor pyridine (Py). Data also on acid base components coal-derived asphaltenes with model system. Determination was made equilibrium constant 1:1 complex OPP Py from NMR studies. Qualitative results 13C 14N system (OPP-Py) individual asphaltene fractions. Because recent renewed interest in coal liquefaction this investigation may provide a starting point for future research.
