摘要: Background: Despite its high response rate, the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy remains controversial. Pretherapeutic identification subgroups patients who are likely to respond is utmost importance. Purpose: In this study, we have attempted determine relationship between specific radiological parameters and chemotherapy. addition, determined if these could yield prognostic information on recurrence and/or survival. Patients Methods: Fifty-four with a squamous cell carcinoma oral cavity or base tongue had contrast-enhanced CT scan were included in analysis. All clinical, radiological, surgical, histological, radiotherapeutical as well follow-up data analyzed by chi-square test. The method Kaplan-Meyer was used disease-free intervals crude survival. log-rank for testing differences local failures survival. Results: Twenty-eight classified having isodense nodes 20 hypodense nodes. Nodal density not related tumor size primary site. N stage correlated Patients significantly lower interval survival than relation overall hypodensity didn't reach significant level. Conclusion: No found N-stage density. Disease-free strongly
