摘要: In the important efforts to decrease net CO2 emissions atmosphere, new, alternative fuels are being included in fuel mixes used utility boilers. However, these have ash properties that different from those of traditionally and some cases technical problems, such as fouling corrosion occur due this. Therefore, diagnostic predictive methods developed avoid problems. Determination chemical association forms elements, potassium sodium, by fractionation is a method well defined for coal biofuels, wood pellets, bark forest residues. Chemical step leaching extracting water soluble salts first step, ion exchangeable organically associated calcium magnesium second acid compounds carbonates sulfates third step. The solid residue fraction consists silicates, oxides, sulfides other minerals. compound extracted two steps considered reactive combustion with few exceptions. this work, it has been applied waste fuels, i.e. sewage sludge, straw refuse derived (RDF), wood. present work also includes results tests fluidised bed boiler where three blends investigated were used. weighted fractionations pure discussed above which compared their corresponding fly ashes. co-combustion strategy gave very good reducing Possible mechanisms involved article. © 2008 Elsevier Ltd.
