摘要: Summary The effects of sowing date and autumn management sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia Scop.) were investigated over 3 years in the UK. Replicated plots sown between April September 2003 2004. Autumn treatments early late cutting carried out establishment year subsequent years. Dry matter (DM) yields measured One harvest was taken from to July sowings three harvests each following DM May 2AE8 3AE3 t ha )1 , respectively, year, which higher (P <0 AE001) than June July. Sowings yielded 10AE9–12AE5 first full-harvest 9AE5–11AE5 year. August only gave 5 . Early-autumn an established sward reduced at second Sowing had lowest proportion weed species (0AE06) highest (0AE53). Crude protein concentration increased as seasons progressed 149AE 8t o 230AE 1gk g DM.
