摘要: Atomic clusters have been deposited between lithographically defined contacts with nanometer scale separations. The design of the is based on an appropriate application percolation theory to conduction in cluster devices and allows finite-size effects be clearly observed. It demonstrated, both by experiment simulation, that for small contact separations threshold shifted extremely low surface coverages. selected rectangular geometry ensures wirelike structures are formed close threshold.
