摘要: Millimeter-wave characterization of a heterodyne receiver using (2 μm2) Nb/Al-Ox/Nb Superconducting-Insulator-Superconducting (SIS) junctions arrays is reported. The fabrication the SIS junction as mixer described. leakage current these below 2μA at 4.2K and unmeasurable 2.5K. gave noise temperature Double Side Band (DSB) between 63K 187K over frequency range 80 to 115 GHz first conversion peak. results are comparable those obtained with receivers well researched lead junctions. Contrary junctions, our all Nb have proven remarkably stable respect thermal cycling, characteristics which required for space applications. To knowledge, this most reliable low operating in range.
