摘要: Background The 13C-caffeine breath test (CBT) is a non-invasive, quantitative of liver function which has been shown to correlate inversely the Child-Pugh score. aim study was determine utility CBT in assessment cirrhosis and its correlation model for end-stage disease (MELD) Methods Thirty-nine patients, 29 with 10 chronic without cirrhosis, 8 healthy volunteers were included. Cirrhotic patients graded according MELD scores. All participants underwent laboratory tests on same day. results expressed as percentages changes over baseline values (Δ‰) per 100 mg caffeine.
