摘要: We review the use of hollow waveguides for frequency conversion ultrafast laser pulses ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet. Phase-matching these processes is reached through a balance gas waveguide dispersion. By mixing 400 nm with 800 light, ultrashort (8 fs) are generated near 270 high efficiency > 20%. Tuning longer-wavelength component in process allows tuning output from 215–308 nm. In XUV, this guided-wave phase-matching has allowed an increase high-order harmonic generation 100–1000x over that obtained jet, experimentally-convenient geometry.
