摘要: Tunable UV pulses shorter than 10 fs are generated by achromatic frequency doubling of a noncollinear optical parametric amplifier. With suitable two-prism sequence we achieve first- and second-order phase matching increase the natural bandwidth nonlinear crystal factor 80. Extremely broad spectra with Fourier limit 2.9 in 360‐µm-thick β-barium borate at conversion efficiency 20%. We compensate for angular dispersion first-order chirp highly stable second prism fully characterize temporal pulse shape zero-additional-phase spectral interferometry direct electric-field reconstruction (ZAP-SPIDER). Pulses as short 7 controlling higher-order deformable mirror.
