摘要: The vibrational excitation of N2 molecules by resonance scattering electrons 2-3 eV is calculated with a compound state model, that on the assumption mechanism e+N2 to N2- N2+e'. complex electronic energy ion treated parametrically, essential new point being Gamma /h(cross), autoionization rate, varies separation nuclei. variation comes from dependence angular momentum barrier emitted electron. Good agreement obtained experimental cross sections reasonable values parameters. Calculations have also been done illustrate transition impulse limit as increased, and molecule reduced.
