摘要: We demonstrate vibrational cooling of anions via collisions with a background gas in an ion trap attached to cryogenically controlled cold head (10–400 K). Photoelectron spectra vibrationally C60− anions, produced by electrospray ionization and cooled the trap, have been obtained. Relative taken at room temperature, hot bands are completely eliminated, yielding well-resolved structures more accurate electron affinity for neutral C60. The C60 is measured be 2.683±0.008eV. reveal complicated transition ground state due Jahn-Teller effect C60−.
