摘要: The vascularization of the cerebrum (cerebral cortex and basal ganglia) in common tree shrew (Tupaia glis) has been studied detail using vinyl injection vascular corrosion cast/SEM techniques. It is found that arterial supply cerebral are from cortical branches middle artery (MCA) anterior (ACA). These arteries turn internal carotid (ICA). In addition, receives blood posterior (PCA) originates basilar (BA). gives rise to rectilinear orientated intracortical divided into dense capillary networks cortex. drain veins then tributaries major superficial veins. ganglia (caudate lentiform nuclei) supplied by central or perforating ACA MCA. medullary give arterioles ramify plexuses. venous both nuclei drains venules finally obvious on ventral aspect, diameter lateral striate (LSA) penetrating MCA much smaller than have few side while peripheral exhibit several series gradually reduced before branching arteries. This could be one reasons why rupture man mostly occurs those originating surface rather dorsolateral surface. Microsc. Res. Tech. 50:411–418, 2000. © 2000 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
