摘要: We tried to utilize elutrilithe, coal waste, as a starting material produce low-cost adsorbent substitute for activated carbons. The elutrilithe was chemically with zinc chloride. products were characterized by nitrogen adsorption isotherms, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). BET αs-plot method used evaluate surface area micropore volume of the samples. A systematic investigation effect ZnCl2/elutrilithe ratios, activation temperatures, time on properties adsorbents carried out. Since carbon in matrix activated, became highly microporous so that behavior substrate significantly improved. As result, new composite exhibited high affinities toward organic compounds an capacity comparable commercial carbon.
